Dubai: A video clip circulating on social media showing a fire in Dubai is unrelated to the current regional situation.
Sources told Emirates 24/7 the fire occurred this morning in a warehouse in Al Khabaisi and there were no injuries.
The Dubai Operations Room received a report at 6:12am today, saying a fire had broken out in a warehouse in the Al Khabaisi area.
Teams from the Port Saeed Fire Station were dispatched as the first responder. Fire fighting teams from the Al Hamriyah Fire Station were sent as backup. The response time was seven minutes.
The fire was of moderate intensity and by 8.13am cooling operations had started.
Residents have been repeatedly advised only to seek information from official channels.
