The Positive Spirit Council, in collaboration with Al Khawaneej Police Station, organised the ‘Your Voice is Heard’ initiative for labourers as part of the Al Ttay Community Forum. The initiative aimed to strengthen direct communication with community members and listen to their opinions, suggestions, and feedback – contributing to service development, enhancing quality of life, and reinforcing the concept of community partnership.
The initiative saw strong turnout and engagement from labourers, providing them with an opportunity to raise their inquiries and discuss various police services directly with specialists. This reflects Dubai Police's ongoing commitment to strengthening communication channels with all segments of society.
Representatives from various departments participated in the initiative, including the General Department of Criminal Investigation, the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, the General Department of Police Stations, represented by Al Khawaneej Police Station and Suburban Police Station, the Victim Support Centre, the General Department of Human Rights, the General Department of Traffic, and the General Department of Community Happiness, represented by the Security Awareness Department and the Community Relations Department. They responded to inquiries and provided awareness, guidance, and advice across various security and community fields.
Ms. Fatima Buhajeer, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council, affirmed that the ‘Your Voice is Heard’ initiative is one of the important community initiatives that reflects Dubai Police’s approach to listening to community members and enhancing direct communication with them. She noted that the initiative provides an interactive platform that allows the public to express their opinions, suggestions, and inquiries with complete transparency.
Buhajeer further added that the initiative contributes to building mutual trust between the community and police institutions and supports efforts to develop services and improve quality of life. She confirmed that all opinions and suggestions received are given attention and follow‑up by the relevant authorities, achieving the aspirations of community members and contributing to enhancing security and community stability.
