Caught in Act: Thieves try to rob Saudi shop

Two thieves waited for a shop to shut for evening prayers in Saudi Arabia, stopped their car in front of the shop and broke its door within seconds.

Just as they opened the door, they fled after they were caught off guard by the presence of workers inside.

A YouTube film, published in Al Saudeh daily, showed the two jumped back into the waiting car and fled as a worker peered out of the door of the shop in Riyadh.

The paper said the shop owner handed the film to the police, who mounted a manhunt for the thieves in a Hyundai Accent 2013. The film was shown from two different angles as it was shot by two security cameras planted outside the shop.
