CHILE, Calama : The world's driest desert - the Atacama, of Chile - has no shortage of sun, and its rays are the only fuel in a cutting-edge auto race across the dirt. Thirty teams from seven countries competed last week in the 1,000 kilometer Atacama Solar Challenge designed to encourage eco-innovation.
