A Saudi man got a traffic ticket for speeding a day before he bought the car and the offense was even recorded in another city.
The man said he bought the brand new car from the agency in the capital Riyadh on Monday and drove it around three km to his house.
Quoted by Ajel newspaper, he said that on the next day, he received a message on his mobile phone asking him to pay fine for speeding in the Northwestern town of Tabuk.
"The car has travelled only around three km, which is the distance between the agency and my house. The fine was recorded a day before I bought and it was in Tabuk, it seems that I got a free fine," he said.
