Man robs grocery in Kuwait with a hammer

An Arab man was caught on camera as he went into a grocery owned by an Indian in Kuwait and told him it was a hold-up. He then pulled his weapon out of his coat and aimed it at the grocer, who instantly panicked at seeing a big hammer.

At first, the shop keeper tried to flee but he realized there was no way out. He then decided there was no choice but to hand him the money.

A U-Tube film, published in the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Al Anba, showed the owner later tried to please the thief when he offered him a bag to put his loot.

“Viewers of the film said it was the strangest robbery in Kuwait…some of them felt sorry for the grocer while others found it funny that he tried to give the thief a bag.”
