Video: Fish carnage on Saudi Red Sea coast

Thousands of fish washed ashore dead on a Red Sea coast in Saudi Arabia and officials said they were investigating reasons for their death.

A YouTube film published in the Saudi daily ‘Okaz’ showed massive quantities of fish were dead although they are still in the water on a beach in the Western industrial port of Yanbu.

“Officials said they have collected samples of the fish, the water and sand to have them tested at the laboratory to identify reasons for their death,” the paper said.
