Video: Healer pricks boy's head for cure

A Saudi 'raqi' (healer) was caught on camera spitting on the head of a little boy before pricking it with a needle many times to cure him of envy.

A YouTube film published in the Saudi daily 'Sada' showed that blood started to ooze out of the boy's head.

The raqi then began chanting "God is Great and "you will be cured of envy".

The paper said viewers of the film, which was published on social media, slammed the raqi for what they described as his dangerous and cruel treatment.

It did not mention where in Saudi Arabia the incident took place.
