Video: Knife-wielding thief vs grocers

 
A knife-wielding thief stormed a grocery in Saudi Arabia and tried to rob its Asian owners but he was overpowered by the brave expatriates.

A YouTube film showed the man, wearing traditional Arabian dishdasha (gown), pretending to be a customer and bargaining with the grocer before he drew a knife and lunged at him.

He also chased another worker before he jumped over the counter and tried to steal money from the drawer.

The film, lasting more than four minutes, showed the two grocers later joined hands and launched a counter-attack against the thief, who appeared to be weakening.

They then grabbed him by the dishdasha and pulled him out of the counter. The film, captured by the shop’s security cameras, showed the thief was stripped off his clothes as he appeared to be gradually surrendering to the two.
