Cairo: Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, has strongly condemned the repeated Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilian facilities and vital infrastructure in the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Al Yamahi described the attacks as a blatant violation of international law, established norms, and humanitarian principles.
In a statement issued Wednesday, he reaffirmed the Arab Parliament’s full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, expressing unwavering support for all measures taken by both countries to safeguard their national security and protect citizens and residents.
He also praised the readiness and efficiency of the armed forces in both nations in responding to what he described as “criminal attacks.”
Al Yamahi called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take a firm and immediate stance to halt these serious violations and prevent further escalation, stressing the importance of preserving regional and global peace and security.
