Crime: Friends strangle boy, 14, bury body

INDIA: A group of three teenagers killed their 14-year-old friend near the Indian metropolis of Kolkata over a minor spat.

The eighth grader had been missing from November 13 and his father had filed a missing complaint at the nearest police station, reports The Times of India.

Police probe revealed that four teen friends had an altercation on November 13 and the father of the victim had to intervene to break the physical scuffle and broker peace among friends.

The same evening the victim went out with the same set of friends and did not return home.

The trio were questioned by the police and they broke down under intense interrogation and accepted that they had taken the victim about 1km away from their neighbourhood and strangled him to death. To hide the body, they dug a hole nearby and stuffed his body inside.

Police officials recovered the dead body and sent it for a post mortem.

Preggie mom jumps off cliff as she wanted a girl

A mother-of two boys was desperate to have a girl so when she discovered that she was pregnant again with twin boys she lost her mind and jumped from a cliff-top.

The 35-year-old nurse was 'devastated' and could not sleep for several nights when utrasound scans showed that she would be soon giving birth to two more boys, reports Daily Mail.

The woman had been feeling low and had been avoiding friends who have daughters. She was 38 weeks pregnant when she jumped from the clifftop. 

The wife was so depressed that the couple had discussed moving to Greece, where they parents-to-be are allowed to select the sex of their child through assisted reproduction treatment.

The woman had spoken to her husband a couple of hours before he discovered that she had failed to pick up their son from school in the afternoon. A search operation followed and it was called off after they discovered her body from the base of a cliff.
