Manchester City’s new poster boy Sergio Aguero has warned Alex Ferguson that he is here to take Manchester United’s title.
The Argentinian, who made a stunning two-goal debut for at Etihad Stadium in Monday’s 4-0 win over Swansea, has said: “This is my chance to change the league,” The Sun reported.
He added: “This is a team with a lot of quality. I know it is a competitive league but we are here to win it in the end.
“My style has always been to fight to the death for every ball and give 100 per cent for every game.”
Aguero admitted the sensational 30-yard strike for his second goal would prompt a call from his legendary father-in-law Diego Maradona who is coach of UAE Pro League side Al Wasl.
The City ace, 23, is married to Diego’s daughter Giannina.
“I’m sure he’s seen my second goal and will call to congratulate me. He will come to watch me when he has some time.”
