Luis Suarez aims to follow up his spectacular form in the Copa America by winning the Premier League title with Liverpool, according to ‘The Sun’.

The Uruguay star was named Player of the Tournament in South America after helping his country win their continental championship for a record 15th time.

Suarez, 24, who is now taking a break before rejoining the Reds, has already made a big impression at Anfield since joining from Ajax for £22.8 million in January.

And he is determined to help fire Kenny Daglish’s men to the biggest prize in English football.

He said: “When you play for a club like Liverpool, you’ve always got to have the aspiration of winning the title.

“You’ve got to believe with the quality we’ve got at this club that this can be a realistic possibility.

“The next objective is to make sure we’re in the Champions League places.”

Suarez proved in the first five months of his Reds career that there is hope for the future.

But he pointed to the leadership of Dalglish as the key factor.

Suarez added: “He has given me the opportunity to express myself and show what I can do.”
