The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments has concluded preparations for Eid Al Fitr prayers.
The Executive Director of Islamic Affairs, Mohammed Obeid Al Mazroui, said that the authority has allocated 696 musallas and mosques all over the UAE to perform Eid prayer, identified each with the name of Al Khatib, equipped them with the necessary furniture, hygiene and sound systems to accommodate the number of worshipers.
He pointed out that 209 mosques are prepared for Eid prayer in Abu Dhabi, 85 in Bani Yas, 51 in the Western Region, 57 in Al Ain, 123 in Sharjah and Khorfakkan, 65 in Ajman, 12 in Umm Al Qaiwain, 54 in Ras Al Khaimah and 41 in Fujairah.
