This year’s launch of the new iPhone may be exactly a month away, as Apple plans to unveil the new device on September 9.

The latest date has emerged from a report in Buzzfeed, quoting sources that Apple might choose September 9 to unveil its latest set of products.

The report also adds that Apple might not only unveil the new iPhones, but also the next version of Apple TV and a new line of iPads.

Apple, it is expected might introduce three new versions of iPhones this year, with a possible inclusion of iPhone 6C.

The report, quoting sources also states that September 7 could be a possibility, although it is more likely that the event could be held on September 9.

Last year too, Apple had unveiled the new iPhones on September 9 which happened to be a Tuesday.
It was earlier expected that this year Apple could most probably choose September 8, which is a Tuesday, as the launch date.

The iPhone 5S was unveiled by Apple on September 10, 2013, again, a Tuesday.

The new flagship devices are expected to maintain similar design elements with no major upgrades except for the introduction of Force Touch.

Apple has incorporated Force Touch which it first introduced into the Apple Watch and then into the MacBook.

With Force Touch on Apple Watch, pressing firmly on the screen brings up additional controls in apps like Messages, Music, and Calendar.

This concept video uploaded onto YouTube describes how Force Touch could work on the iPhones.

Among the other new features of the iPhone could come a battery boost, along with an upgraded RAM and camera features.

What’s more interesting about the Buzzfeed report is that it claims that Apple might also unveil new iPads and the latest version of Apple TV along with the iPhones.

Apple has always reserved iPad launch events for October.

It was earlier expected that Apple could launch an all-new 12.5 inch iPad Pro this year, but that report quoting sources has said that it is unlikely that iPad Pro will be part of September launch.
