Google’s doodle today is dedicated to Robert Arthur "Bob" Moog, American music enthusiastic and founder of Moog Music – better known for inventing the synthesizer. Also known as the Moog.

The interactive doodle allows users to actually see what the Moog sounds like – and the sound is not to every one’s liking.

Google’s doodle even allow users to play with the settings of the keyboard to compose and record music so that users can play them later.

As high-pitched synthesised sounds pervaded office spaces here in the UAE and across the world, bosses were not amused.

'Moog synthesizer' is the pioneer of electronic music and Moog himself, born on  May 23, 1934 (he died on August 21, 2005), had a bachelor's degree in Physics from Queens College, New York (1957) and a Ph.D. in engineering physics from Cornell University.

In 1970, he received a Grammy Trustees Award and a Special Merit/Technical Grammy Award.

He can also lay claim to a barrage of office memos across the working world today – stop that noise!
