iPhone 5 beats Galaxy S4 – in negative comments on social media network

Apple’s iPhone 5 has beaten Samsung Galaxy S4 in the number of negative comments and user complaints it has received over the social network.

According to a recent study by social media analysts ‘We Are Social’, there were more negative comments for the iPhone5 compared to even Nokia Lumia 920 and BlackBerry Z10.

The results of the study pointed out that a fifth of all comments about the Apple smartphone received negative comments while Samsung fared much better compared to all three companies mentioned above.

The study includes comments made on all social networks including Facebook, Twitter and blogs.

HTC had raised complaints against Samsung for unfairly criticising its latest ‘HTC One’ phone with unfair comments.

People using fake user accounts were posting negative reviews of the ‘HTC One’ and ‘HTC One X’ on the Internet and it was alleged that Samsung had paid fake users to do so.

But user complaints regarding iPhone5 could be more credible as Apple indeed faced a lot of criticisms following the launch the smartphone.

Among the three major complaints about the iPhone 5 was Apple’s decision to release the new phone with no major innvoation as far as the OS is concerned while wn Maps and its decision to remove Google Maps out of its ecosystem.

Apple was also criticised by users for its decision to change the charging socket.

Apple CEO late on went on to officially apologise to users for its mess up with the Maps.

Some users even said the map led them to a wrong destination.

According to the report, iPhone5 was also most talked about handset immediately after the launch and had the strongest brand loyalty.

The iPhone5 received about 1.7 million conversations, compared to 300,000 mentions of the Z10, 140,000 references to the Galaxy S4 and 45,000 comments about the Lumia 920.
