The Organising Committee of the Arab Media Forum, AMF, has revealed that the 16th edition of AMF will feature, for the third consecutive year, the Media Walk, which hosts several activities throughout the two-day event.
Running under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the AMF promises to deliver diversified and non-traditional content in a creative and dynamic context. Held on 1st and 2nd May at Madinat Jumeirah, the forum aims to arrange a series of in-depth discussions around the current state of the Arab Media and its future.
Alia Al Theeb, Director of Dubai Press Club, said that there will be a range of new activities offered at the Media Walk, including "20 Minutes sessions" which will be staged at the Palmyra and Babylon theatres, where prominent media figures will hold interactive sessions with their audiences.
The Media Walk will also feature, for the first time, a replica of the "Sarooq Al-Hadeed" museum, where some artefacts from the actual museum will be showcased during AMF with the aim to highlight the civilisations that had existed in the UAE. Also, the Mohammad bin Rashid Space Centre will display the virtual reality experience of the "Mars 2117" project for guests to embark on a journey to outer space.
