Abu Dhabi: The official Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) will begin tomorrow in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The event will be held alongside the 17th Ordinary Session of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers, according to a statement by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
Sheikh Maktoum said the event aims to strengthen the framework for joint Arab financial cooperation, reinforce financial stability and enhance the ability of Arab economies to navigate a changing global environment.
He reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to the vision of its leadership in supporting and advancing the framework for joint Arab action and promoting sustainable development across the region.
Sheikh Maktoum added that the UAE will continue to serve as a platform for dialogue, a meeting point for Arab ambitions, and a hub for opportunity, prosperity and a brighter future.
