10 new Bridgestone outlets to be opened in UAE

Nasser bin Abdullatif Alserkal Establishment, importer of Bridgestone tyres for Dubai and the Northern Emirates, is planning major expansion of its retail business.

Ahmad Bin Eisa Bin Nasser Alserkal, Vice-Chairman of Nasser Bin Abdullatif Alserkal Establishment, said more than 10 units will be opened till 2015 in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

The company, according to Ahmad, will focus more on the supply chain solutions, better service packages to the fleet customers and plans more retail channels and development in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

It also announced two new lines of Bridgestone tyres to be available in Dubai at an event hosted for the dealers. The event was attended by Kenji Kano, Vice President of Bridgestone for Middle East and Africa, and Shigemasa Ishii, General Manager of Gulf, East Africa and Nigeria.

Ahmad said: “Our success for today is played, by large, from the support of our dealers. In the past year alone, sales of Bridgestone tyres in Dubai and the Northern Emirates have increased by double-digit increase. It gives us great pleasure to be the sole distributors of the world’s best tires, ensuring safety and comfort for drivers in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.”

Commenting on tyre sales growth, Ahmad said: “Tyre sales are growing with the sales of vehicles and Nasser Bin Abdullatif Alserkal Est. had a double digit growth in 2013 compared to 2012, and our expectation for 2014 are that there will be another double-digit growth.”
