Dubai mall operator Majid Al Futtaim appoints new CEO
The chief executive of Dubai shopping mall operator Majid Al Futtaim has left the company with immediate effect, it said on Tuesday.
Iyad Malas has quit after six years at the helm to pursue other interests, and privately owned Majid Al Futtaim has appointed Alain Bejjani as his successor.
Bejjani was previously chief corporate development and brand officer, and has been with the company since 2006.
In January Majid Al Futtaim, which has operations across the Gulf, said it planned to double its business within five years after reporting an 11 per cent rise in 2014 revenue to Dh25 billion ($6.8 billion).
