Emirati businesswoman bags Global CEO award

An Emirati businesswoman, Badria Al Mulla, President of International Emirates Business Group, has been awarded the Masterclass Women CEO of the year by the Global Leadership Awards 2013.

The award is organised by the American Leadership Development Association (Alda) and sponsored by Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC) and hosted by Malaysian Datum Economic Forum and The Leaders International Magazine in Kuala Lumpur.

The Award honors leaders for their exemplary contributions towards global growth in economic and unique leadership qualities and who took extra effort in nation building while nurturing the global economy to grow. Only 30 global brand leaders have been selected for this prestigious award after careful assessment of their business achievements by 20 high profile judges from all parts of the globe.

Al Mulla is the only leader that has been selected from the Mena region for her firmly placed group of companies brand with excellent leadership style displayed in moving her business vision from establishing a small local consulting firm and moving it to an international group of companies in oil and gas, integrated management technology, leadership programs, real estate investments and fashion industry serving more than 60 clients in Middle East, USA and Europe.

A long side Al Mulla, Dato Seri Samy Vellu Malaysia prime minister's advisor for India and south Asia and the American Dr Nouriel Roubini who has named as one of top 10 world economist by Forbes are among this year awardees.
