UAE healthcare group to hire 5,000 employees; Click to apply

UAE-based VPS Healthcare, which operates a number of healthcare facilities in the UAE and abroad, plans to recruit over 5,000 employees in the next three years for their upcoming projects with a large chunk of recruitment to be conducted for the new UAE operations.

“VPS Healthcare has numerous local and international projects in the pipeline, which will create over 5,000 jobs in the region in the next three years to meet the growing healthcare demands of the country with special emphasis on creating opportunities for Emirati talents,” said Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Managing Director, VPS Healthcare.

Nearly 70 to 80 per cent of new staff will be expats while the rest will be UAE nationals in the recruitment drive for the 25 new healthcare facilities coming up over the next three years, the company said in a statement to Emirates 24l7.

Among the new jobs, the group will hire almost 2,500 nurses, 600 doctors, 200 paramedics and 500 hospitality staff and the remaining management, front office and other staff.

The group currently employs 7,500 staff in its healthcare facilities. The new recruitment drive will fulfil the company’s growing need to have a diverse pool of healthcare professionals from across the globe.

Dr. Shajir Gaffar, CEO of VPS Healthcare Group, Dubai and Northern Emirates, told this website earlier this year that it would recruit more than 4,000 doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other administrative staff in the UAE alone.

Commencing from October 31, 2015, the group is participating in Arab Health Recruitment and Training Fair  which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The fair allows employers to interact with potential employees as well as network with other corporations in the industry, thereby benefiting individuals and companies mutually.
