UAE hospitality firm to hold walk-in interviews for all sorts of jobs

Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) Compass, which provides catering services in the Middle East, is holding walk-in interviews on Saturday, October 13, 2012, to recruit both white and blue collar staff for its operations in Abu Dhabi.

ADNH Compass will be hiring operations/catering managers, chefs, receptionists, HSE officers, waiters, catering supervisors, room boys, labourers, laundry supervisors, HVAC technicians, maintenance technicians, room attendants, drivers, cleaners and a number of other employees.

ADNH Compass is a joint venture launched in January 2001 between ADNH and Compass Group to operate the organisation’s catering interests in the Middle East. ADNH Compass operates in the UAE, Egypt and Qatar and offers services include providing catering, cleaning and facilities management services to construction camps, oil and gas, hotels, hospitals, tertiary institutions, corporate headquarters, exhibitions, palaces and clubs among others.

The group will hold walk-in inteview at Abu Dhabi National Hotels, Airport Road, behind Mercedes Showroom & Carrefour, Abu Dhabi. The interested candidates should have a minimum of two-year experience in their respective field.

These positions will be filled for to carry out various onshore and offshore operations across the UAE.

The group claimed that no recruitment agency is involved in this process.

The hotel sector in the Abu Dhabi is witnessing better occupancy and higher room rates – thanks to the international conferences and exhibitions taking place in the emirate.

Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority said recently that from January to August, more than 1.552 million people stayed in Abu Dhabi’s 130 hotels and hotel apartments accounting for 4,393,820 guest nights – a rise of 10 per cent on last year’s comparative period – and a three per cent uplift in total hotel revenue to Dh2.8 billion.
