Dunia to offer 12 scholarships for IIMA

The UAE-based financial services firm Dunia Finance has signed an agreement with the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) to offer scholarships to students studying Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Business Administration.

Beginning in line with the next academic year, Dunia will offer scholarships to four post graduate programme students per year – two first year students and two second year students.  The scholarships will be awarded to students who have displayed academic excellence in their studies.

IIMA is currently ranked 16th by the Financial Times Masters in Management Rankings.

Rajeev Kakar, Managing Director and CEO of Dunia, who is also an Alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, said: “Earlier this year, we hired six quality IIM graduates as part of our on-going recruitment drive and our dedication to connecting education to the industry in which we work, and we hope to take on even more talented young minds through this scholarship agreement, by offering exciting and diverse international careers tailored to further learning and advancement.
