Adnoc to soon restart Ruwais unit

State-run Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (Adnoc) plans to restart its gasoline units at the Ruwais refinery after completion of maintenance work, traders said on Sunday.

Adnoc had shutdown its two gasoline units at its 415,000 barrels per day (bpd) Ruwais refinery in late September, traders told Reuters earlier this year.

"The refinery will be back in operation in about a week's time," said a Dubai-based trader. No-one from Adnoc was immediately available to comment.

The Ruwais plant, the largest in the world's third-largest oil exporter, is run by the refining unit of Adnoc, Takreer.
