The total value of contracts the Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) will execute during the current year will cross Dh2.6 billion, according to a senior official.
Acting Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Salem Al Junaibi also said that the company will build new 52 boats, modernise 15 boats and carry out maintenance of other 40 vessels.
In a statement to the Nation Shield (Dira Al-Watan) Magazine, Junaibi pointed out that the company has expansion plans during the current year.
