Dr. Khaled Al Mazrouei named CEO of Abu Dhabi Ship Building

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) has announced the appointment of Dr. Khaled Al Mazrouei as CEO.

Dr. Al Mazrouei, previously General Manager of the Fujairah International Airport, brings extensive expertise in driving strategic business growth, and will be working with the existing management team to drive further success across naval and commercial shipbuilding in the UAE.

Commenting upon the appointment, Humaid Al Shemmari, Chairman of ADSB, said: "Khaled’s knowledge, experience and proven leadership will ensure that Abu Dhabi Shipping Building maintains its growth trajectory, further expands upon our committed relationship with the UAE Navy and other naval forces in the GCC, as well as expanding the company's participation in the areas of construction and maintenance of commercial vessels."

Al Mazrouei has held a number of high profile roles and driven sustainable business expansion across the United Arab Emirates’ transport sector. He was formerly Chairman of the Gulf Airport Services Association and worked at Fujairah International Airport for over ten years.  He was also the Founding President of the Green Aviation and Logistics Group, an environmental body based in the UAE, aimed at driving green initiatives across the aviation, transport and logistics industry. He also lectures on a Business and Marketing Course at different Universities in the UAE.

A graduate from St. Louis University, Missouri, he also attained two Masters' Degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida and a Doctorate from the University of Lincoln, UK.
