Dubai firm offers transaction fee exemption if you pay bill online

Move aimed at saving customers’ time and efforts

District cooling services provider Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) today announced exempting its customers of any transaction fees while they pay online using credit cards.

This move reflects the company’s firm belief in contributing to the smart transformation of Dubai as well as to increase the efficiency of its services, rationalise costs and enhance reliability in financial transactions.

By targeting its wide range of customers in the residential and commercial sectors, Empower seeks primarily through this move to lessen the cost of payments as well as raise the level of transparency in its billing system for customers. Moreover, the company aims to encourage customers to shift to online payment of bills so as to save time and effort instead of visiting Empower offices.

“This move supports the transformation of the Emirate of Dubai to smart services. We aim to save customers’ time and efforts as well as their money by exempting additional fees for using credit cards in payments,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.

“We at Empower are exempting additional fees to ensure clients’ satisfaction which is always our priority. We also believe that our responsibility is to ease up the adoption of smart solutions such as online payment in an attempt to ensure speedy access to our services,” he added.

A dedicated team from Empower will follow up the results of the online-payment campaign and monitor the rate of customer response. The team will also continue to provide all technical support to ensure the efficiency of the system. This will contribute in increasing the confidence of customers and enhance their adoption to smart systems.

Empower provides district cooling services to these companies and areas: Jumeirah Group, Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Ibn Battuta Mall, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai World Trade Centre Residences and Dubai Design District, among others.
