Egypt exports down 6 per cent

Exports from Egypt were down 6 per cent in January due to the unrest and curfew in the country, Trade Minister Samiha Fawzi Ibrahim said on Saturday.

She said authorities were providing extra food supplies to stabilise prices in the market and avoid shortages.
