Emirates Islamic Bank, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, announced today plans to open 18 new branches across the country within 2013 and 2014, as part of its aggressive expansion strategy to reach its customers regardless of their location.

With the inauguration of the new branches, Emirates Islamic Bank’s overall branch network in the UAE reaches 66.

The bank plans to open nine new branches in various parts of Dubai, as well as four branches in each of Abu Dhabi and Sharjah and a branch in Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah. The first branch opening will take place in the busy business and residential district of Baniyas in Deira, Dubai in July 2013.

“We are highly delighted to announce our enhanced expansion strategy. This reinforces our commitment to broaden our presence throughout the country. It also reflects the growing number of customers who look to Emirates Islamic Bank to be their preferred banking services provider based on our excellence of services and the variety of products we offer,” said Faisal Aqil, Deputy CEO, Consumer Wealth Management, Emirates Islamic Bank.

“Our focus to reach different walks of life in different parts of the country stems from our belief that Emirates Islamic Bank should be easily accessible to everyone who requires quality services matched by convenience,” he added.
