Now Showing: Plush pillows, snug blankets at Emaar’s new multiplex in Dubai

It’s finally here.

Residents of the posh Jumeirah, Al Wasl and other adjoining communities now have access to another multiplex in their residential neighbourhood.

In a strategic tie-up with the Dubai-based holding company Meraas, Emaar Entertainment’s Reel Cinemas has opened its newest cinema complex at City Walk, an urban-living destination in Dubai, situated at the junction of Al Wasl Road and Safa Road. 

Designed to evolve as a city within a city that is easily accessible and offers a multitude of residences, retail and leisure choices at one location, in the city of Dubai, CITY WALK is nestled in a prestigious neighbourhood on Al Safa Street in close proximity to the arterial Sheikh Zayed Road and the sophisticated Jumeira Beach Road. 

The cinemas are the latest addition to the more than 10 million square feet family-friendly city-within-a-city that is City Walk. The mixed-use destination combines living, shopping, entertainment, hospitality, and wellness options.

In line with the elite neighbourhood, the new multiplex will provide “only the most luxurious of movie-going experiences”, says Emaar Entertainment.

This includes giving guests the choice of watching their movie in one of its three Platinum Movie Suites.

The posh suites can be accessed through private lounges fitted with marble service counters, designer furniture and ambient lighting.

The package includes leather reclining chairs which are equipped with a side table and button for personal butler service throughout the movie.

The ‘VIP treatment’ is inclusive of plush pillows and snug blankets while guests can get gourmet treats delivered to their seats when they press a button to call on the services of a cinematic butler.
