Ramadan deals: BMW car plus 55" OLED TV for Dh89,999

If you have not yet ventured out shopping during this Ramadan, there are still a few days before the end of the special discount offers and deals that have been on since the beginning of the holy month.

You can still buy a BMW car by paying just Dh7,500 per month for 12 months and you can also take home a 55-inch OLED TV worth Dh7,500 free.

Shopping centers and retail units have been running special discounts running up to 30 per cent apart from some exclusive deals. While traditionally the deals had been centred around automobiles and discount offers on Iftars, electronic retailers have joined the bandwagon extending the offers beyond the Gitex Shopper.

Emax has been offering special cash discounts and vouchers on electronics including white goods and  kitchen gadgets. Almost Dh500 - Dh800 cash back is being offered on several items such as Siemens cooking range, Hitachi refrigerators, microwaves food processors etc.,

Jumbo stores are offering exchange offers where you can take old items including smartphones, laptops and even exchange your old television sets for a new one. Jumbo has also been giving away Gitex like bundle offers with several products. Among the popular free add one that are bundled includes MS Office 365, Antivirus, a smartwatch, Sony headset etc., Both Sharaf DG and Carrefour have been offering direct cash discounts on several products.

BMW Car with LG OLED TV for Dh89, 999 and in 12 easy instalments

Yes, you only saw this during the Gitex Shopper but is now being expanded outside the electronics shopping festival. This Ramadan, Sharaf DG has introduced a bundle offer where you get a 2016 BMW 318i  with an 55 inch LG OLED TV for Dh89,999. The original price of the car is Dh142,000 while the LG OLED TV is separately priced at Dh7,999.  Whats more Sharaf DG says you can even pay the amount in 12 easy instillments.

Samsung reintroduces free Gear VR with Galaxy S7

The offer was originally announced at the launch of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge earlier this year and was available to those pre- booking the device. The special deal has been re-introduced during Ramadan where any purchase of Galaxy S7 edge comes with a free Gear VR. The smartphone price however has been hiked by Dh100.

While the Galaxy S7 edge plus Gear VR offer is priced at Dh2699, the same deal with some additional bundles  is priced at Dh2849.

HTC and Lava buy one Get one free offer

Several budget models including those by HTC, Lava and X-touch are being bundled as buy one and get another free. The 5.5 inch HTC Desire 820 G with 13Mp camera, 16GB internal memory and 1GB of RAM is bundled with  HTC Desire 626 G for 899.  Similarly the low end model from Lava the 810 with a 5 inch screen, 2MP camera and 1GB of RAM  is priced at Dh498 for two phones.

LG G5 with 3D VR free

The LG G5 modular phone was launched in April in the UAE along with various accessories called the LG Friends which included the LG Cam plus, the 360 degree VR, the LG 360 cam, the LG Hi-fi Plus and LG Tone Platinum.

While LG initially rolled out the device offering Cam Plus for free, several stores are offering the LG 360 VR free along with the purchase of LG G5.The portable add on although not as powerful as the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive still offers  a decent experience of 360 degree content. While the LG G5 bundled with a camera module, battery kit and case is priced at Dh2299, Sharaf DG is offering the G5 along with the LG 360 VR  for Dh2499. The standalone price of the VR headset at Jumbo is Dh775.

Daily special offers by Jumbo during Ramadan

Jumbo Electronics has been offering a new offer daily during the holy month of Ramadan. The retailer claimed to offer discounts ranging from 15 to 45 per cent on select items. Among the past deals were a 27 per cent discount on Playstation 4 1TB console, an extra controller and bundled with Uncharted 4 for Dh1599, , a 36 per cent discount on Galaxy Note 4, a 14 per cent discount on Xbox One 500GB with three games and three months netflix connection for Dh1799. the Idol 3 by Alcatel went for Dh549 compared to the retail price of Dh799.
