Singapore's ambassador visits Al Maya Supermarkets

Singapore’s first Ambassador to the UAE H.E. Umej Singh Bhatia visited Al Maya Supermarkets in Dubai.  Mr Umej Singh Bhatia appreciated the efforts taken in importing and distributing Singapore products in the U.A.E. by the Al Maya Group.  The new Consul General of Singapore to the U.A.E. H.E. Cheong Ming Foong also accompanied the Ambassador during his visit. During the visit, Ambassador informed that there is a possibility of tie ups between Singapore  and UAE Companies and there are  synergies with the companies to tie up in terms of food, raw materials and other items.

Al Maya Group operates 31 Supermarkets in the U.A.E. and 5 in the Sultanate of Oman.  Al Maya Group is a 30 years old company based in Dubai.   Al Maya Group imports products from all over the world including China/India/Korea/Japan/US/UK/Philippines, etc. 

We are honoured to have H.E. Umej Singh Bhatia, Ambassador of Singapore in our Supermarkets and H.E. Cheong Ming Foong, Consul General of Singapore.  We will ensure that we import more and more products to the UAE from Singapore.  The following are the major brands products being imported by Al Maya Group from Singapore and launch more and more products from Singapore in U.A.E.

Al Maya Group plans to open more Supermarkets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 2013.
