Apple has started retailing the Apple Watch Hermes collection on its online stores in the US and Europe. Designed for the fashion conscious, the collection is available in 10 models, and was first unveiled in September 2015.

"It is a unique timepiece designed with both utility and beauty in mind. With leather straps handmade by Hermès artisans in France and an Hermès watch face reinterpreted by Apple designers in California, Apple Watch Hermès is a product of elegant, artful simplicity — the ultimate tool for modern life," is how Apple described Hermes.

The models were only available in select retail stores and Apple has now decided to take it into its online stores.

New models coming soon

An event could be held as early as March during with Apple could not only unveil its new Apple Watch models, but also 4-inch iPhone along with it.

A report by 9to5Mac points out that the new watch line-up will include new band colour options. With new bands made out of new materials and also new partnerships with fashion brands in addition to the one similar to Hermes.

Sales of Apple Watch has dominated the smartwatch segment. Last month International Data Corporation (IDC) said that Apple Watch might have eaten up 61.3 per cent of the global smartwatch sales in 2015. The company it is said could have shipped about 13 million units in 2015.
