One of PlayStation 4’s most exciting features – remote play – arrived to the Android store, enabling users to play the game on any of the compatible devices be it a smartphone or a tablet.

However, currently only owners of the Xperia Z3 will be able to activate the feature. Sony however added that the Z2 users will be able to avail the facility within the next few weeks. Sony has already said that it does not plan to extend the facility to other android devices.Neither will owners of other Xperia models including Xperia Z1, Compact or Ultra be able to use the feature.

The feature allows users to play the PS4 games with the Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller via home Wi-Fi.

PS4 Remote Play is also available for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV, which is rolling out starting November 14.

Gamers can also connect their mobile devices to the GCM10 Game Control Mount accessory with your Xperia Z3 and DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller or setting up your Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact as a screen on the BSC10 Bluetooth Speaker Dock.

Sony has however warned users with slow internet speeds of not so seamless experience and also that not all games are compatible to be played remotely.
