Dubai: Real estate experts have confirmed that the expansion of real estate offerings in local markets during the recent period is a positive indicator of growing competitiveness, keeping pace with the growth in demand, and enhancing the diversity of options available to buyers.
They explained that the increase in offers is not an indication of a decline in demand, citing the growth in demand according to real estate sales data in local markets. They pointed out that these offers have turned from mere promotional tools into additional incentives that provide more diverse alternatives and contribute to attracting new segments of investors.
In detail, Obaid Abdulrahman Al Mazloum, Director of the Real Estate Projects Regulation Department at the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said that “the increase in real estate offers witnessed in the local markets during the recent period is keeping pace with the growth in demand, enhances the options available to buyers, and contributes to attracting different segments of investors, as confirmed by official market statistics.”
He added: “For example, the number of real estate sales contracts registered in Sharjah during the past year reached about 14,000 contracts, while the total number of certified sales contracts exceeded 12,000 contracts during the first nine months of this year, and the number is expected to exceed 14,000 contracts by the end of the year, which will enhance sales growth.”
He explained that “the markets are witnessing an increase in demand and the entry of new segments of buyers, in light of the diversity of offers that provide additional incentives for investors and support competitiveness.”
For his part, Khalifa bin Hareb, General Manager of Al-Rasikhoun Real Estate, said that “real estate offers in the markets are witnessing an increase and diversification, keeping pace with sales growth and attracting new segments of investors,” noting that “offers and competitiveness in the real estate markets are among the positive aspects that support the strength of demand.”
He added: “Since the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year, we have witnessed tangible growth in demand for real estate purchases, which confirms that the offerings are keeping pace with growing competitiveness and attracting new segments of investors.”
He pointed out that “offers do not reflect a decline in demand, but rather an increase in competitiveness and the availability of new options, and their transformation from promotional tools into additional incentives that enhance buyers’ choices.”
For his part, Fares Saeed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of C Holding Group, said that “the increase in real estate offers in the markets coincides with the growth in demand, and is considered one of the positive indicators of competitiveness. It also supports providing additional incentives for investors and enhances their options by providing more alternatives.”
He added that “the markets are currently witnessing indicators of growing demand for purchasing real estate units, especially sustainable real estate,” noting that “the markets are characterised by high competitiveness, as offers increase in conjunction with the growth in real estate sales and the continued attraction of new investors.”
