A Nigerian visitor allegedly contained, in his digestive organs, close to 1kg of cocaine stuffed in 56 capsules, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
A customs officer suspected SK, 30, when he arrived at Dubai International Airport from Brazil.
“Searching him and his luggage I did not find anything. However, examining his body by x-ray, I noticed strange substances in his digestive organ.
Confronting him, he admitted to transporting cocaine stuffed in capsules,” said the officer.
The 56 capsules contained a total of 929.82gm. The court will give its verdict on March 15.
