4 men accused of raping woman in Fujairah

Four men are on trial in Fujairah on charges of raping a woman at her house in Fujairah, but they told the court they are not guilty.

The woman had earlier told police the four men sneaked into her house at night and overpowered her before taking turns in raping her.

Medical examination at hospital in the eastern emirate showed the woman, identified as FA, was raped. Police later arrested the four, who were identified by the victim.

“The four denied the woman’s accusations that they raped her,” the Arabic language daily Al Khaleej said.
