Dh2,000 fine for attempting suicide

A court in Ajman fined an Asian woman Dh2,000  after she was found guilty of having alcohol and trying to commit a suicide.

Police arrested the woman after she tried to jump from her 17th floor apartment while she was drunk, according to local newspapers.
