Driver brings furniture, gropes purchaser

A Pakistani driver allegedly groped a Chinese airhostess after transporting furniture to her house in Al Nahda area, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

On January 18, at around 8pm, JW bought some furniture from Home Centre which arranged a driver to transport them to her house.

“I called the driver and he came and picked up the furniture. He also brought them up to my house in Al Nahda. When he finished, I shook his hand in appreciation of his service. Suddenly, he hugged me and groped my breast. I pushed him away and shouted at him. He apologised and left the flat. I chased him and asked the building security staff to catch him,” said the victim.

Police arrived and arrested MS, 25.

The court will give verdict on March 17.
