Indian money exchange accountant NO, 40, was approached by the accused at 8am on last December 12.

“He gave me a note of US$100 and then gave the other… from the touch I could realize that they were forged. I picked up the phone and called the police… I sought help of the security staff of a nearby supermarket to help catch him until police arrive,” NO told investigators.

However, the accused could run away.

Police arrived and were informed about the forged notes and the customer who ran away.

Searching the area, police suspected an African who was subject to a traffic accident.
