Fisherman fined Dh10,000 for selling bad fish
An Abu Dhabi court fined a fisherman Dh10,000 for selling stuff which is unfit for human consumption although the dealer had been warned before.
Health inspectors checking stuff at the capital’s fish market found nearly 17 kg of fish at a shop were bad and pose a hazard to human health.
The Abu Dhabi Municipality referred the dealer to court after he was warned before against selling bad fish.
“The court fined him Dh10,000 and gave him a fresh warning after he confessed to the charges,” Alittihad daily said.
