Fujairah resident held for burning his car

Fujairah police arrested a 23-year-old Emirati on charges of setting his own car on fire without any reason, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

Police and civil defence rushed to Al Wareea area after receiving a report that a Mercedes is ablaze, Emarat Al Youm daily.

The civil defence put out the blaze which completely damaged the vehicle and an ensuing investigation showed that the man set his own car on fire.

“The man was arrested and primacy interrogation showed that he set his car on fire without any convincing reason,” the paper said.
