Gardener steals goods from employer’s house
A gardener allegedly stole from his employer’s house jewellery, watch and computer worth Dh80,000, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
MB, 43, British, reported the theft to the police.
Police lifted the fingerprint of gardener KA, 25, on the inside of the back door of the house.
The employer told police that the gardener had entered the house only once and had not touched the door.
The gardener said he had entered once and that he did not touch the door as the employer had opened it for him.
When told that his fingerprint been found on the door from inside, he had nothing to say.
The court will reconvene on February 2.
