Juveniles accused of chaining Dubai minor

Three Emirati youngsters, including two juveniles, allegedly chained and attempted to sodomise an 11-year-old boy.

While AM, 20, is standing trial in Dubai Criminal Court, YS, 11, and RZ, 12, are being prosecuted by the Juvenile Court.

According to the victim, ZS, he was roaming around in his neighbourhood on July 2, when two of the suspects “dragged him into a house”.

“I saw an elder boy playing with his mobile phone inside the house. The two others chained my hands and got on to Playstation for about two hours. After that the elder boy undressed and attempted to sodomise me. But I screamed and the two other boys released me. I rushed out of the house and called the operation room,” testified the victim.

Police took him to Hatta hospital and informed his father. The hospital reported marks on his wrists.
 
Upon arrest, AM told investigators that he was surprised to see the victim and the two boys in his room and claimed that the two boys had chained the victim.

While, the two boys denied that they had dragged the victim into the youth’s house. They claimed that as they went into the youth’s house, they saw the victim was already in.

The court will reconvene on October 20.
