Man accused for hiding murder suspects
A jobless Pakistani, SRA, is accused of offering shelter to three men involved in cases of murder and attempted murder.
The 30-year-old defendant is believed to have let the alleged criminals hide at his place.
He is accused of helping them to try to flee the country through Al Bureimi border.
He is also accused of not informing the concerned authorities about the crime the two have committed.
SRA, confessed before the Ajman and Dubai prosecution authorities that he received a call from his friend AO asking for help.
“I asked him to come over to my accommodation and there were other two with him, he looked very scared and AO had injured his hand and so I offered him treatment of his wound. AO told me that they have killed someone in Ajman and that they are seeking to flee the country from Al Buraimi,” testified SRA.
AO and the other two accused murdered Shahed in his accommodation. They also stabbed his room partner when he tried to stop them.
SRA offered to take them to Al Buraim but he failed because of the traffic at Al Buraimi border so they went back to stay in SRA’s accommodation.
The court adjourned the case to February 14.
