Shoe-shop owner accused of molesting woman

An Asian shoe shop owner is on trial in Fujairah on charges of molesting a woman who bought a pair of shoes from his shop, newspapers said on Tuesday.

Police arrested the man after the woman said that he touched sensitive parts of her body while she was in his shop.

“She said that she bought a pair of shoes and found later that they are damaged. She said that she returned to the shop and told the owner about them,” Al Khaleej daily said.

“She said that the owner smiled at her and asked her to sit down before he started to caress sensitive parts of her body.”
