Tutor molests girl, caught at airport in bid to flee

A tutor who was seen molesting an 8-year-old girl by her grandmother was arrested while attempting to flee the country, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The grandmother AA, 64, Afghani, asked tutor about the direction of Holy Ka’aba as she wanted to pray. After she left the living room she forgot the direction and came back to ask the Afghani tutor again.

“I was shocked to see him groping my girl’s private parts... when I shouted at him he got confused and ran away. We immediately reported the mater to police,” the grandmother told investigators.

On the next day, Dubai Police arrested MM, 30, Clerk, at the airport while attempting to leave the country.

MM claimed that he stopped from shaking her legs as she was focusing.

He confessed before police that what he did was wrong and asked for forgiveness.

The little girl told investigators that the tutor used to molest her whenever her brother was not around. She did not tell her parents because she was afraid.

The court will announce verdict on February 4, 2014.
