Two young Arab men had a near-death experience when their car sank in the Ras Al Khaimah Creek on Tuesday, reported Emarat Al Youm.
According to Ras Al Khaimah police source, MA and AB, 24- and 25-year-old respectively, were rescued from the vehicle with minor injuries.
The car ran off the track near the Culture Centre are fell into the Creek and rapidly settled to the bottom at a depth of almost 2 metres.
Police and rescue team rushed to the site and managed to pull the duo out of the submerged car.
Later, the Department of Public Services pulled the car out of the water.
